#LEGDAYMATTER: Why You Shouldn't Skip Leg Day

It happens to all of us , some days are just not leg days. By some days, I mean every day is an opportunity to train the upper body. Besides, why do you need to strengthen your legs if it's covered all the time? No one can see the gains, so does it even matter really. WRONG.

Although #UPPERBODYMATTER, it is not the issue right now. We're focusing on legs. the question now is why does #LEGDAYMATTER?

IT WILL SAVE YOU FROM PEOPLE ASKING YOU IF YOU SKIP LEG DAY

If you can not have a conversation about fitness without someone commenting on the size of your legs, you need to squat...Like Now! Not because you should be worried about what people think but because you should eradicate all negative words and thoughts when you're attempting to change your physical state. It is imperative to feel confident in order t be successful, and feeling secure about the size of your legs will aid in focusing on what you need to do.

TRAINING YOUR LEGS WILL HELP YOUR ENTIRE BODY GET STRONGER

Stronger legs and core muscles will increase your strength on upper-body lifts and thus help upper-body muscle development. While training your legs, you'll also engage a plethora of other muscle groups such as arms, shoulders, and core. For instance, while performing a Deadlift:

  • Your arms squeeze the bar hard during heavy Squats & Deadlifts.

  • Your abs work hard at stabilizing the weight during Squats.

  • Your chest muscles tense hard during heavy Deadlifts.

TRAINING YOUR LEGS WILL HELP YOU BUILD MORE MUSCLE

Your lower body has some the largest muscle groups such as the quadriceps and glutes. These muscles like all your muscles produce hormone and testosterone which fuels mice growth and increase energy. Studies show that that leg exercises such as deadlifts and sweats produce more hormone and testosterone than any other exercise. At the end of the day, Leg day can save you from having to go over counter for supplements and let your body produce its natural energy source.
